(Almost October)

Its really chilly in Shimosuwa (where I am living) today.
I can't believe I was wearing T-shirt a week ago.
I need to wear socks and long sleeves...umm. I miss AZ a lot.

My neighbor, sulosu, a ceramics studio, is opening next Friday, October 1st.
If you are interested in check her website. You can see some of her works and info about the studio. (its Japanese though)

Hi!
This is Kazumi Ito! If you know me, Hi! welcome to my blog!
if you don't know me here is my little introduction.
I am a metal smith living in Japan.
oh, and I don't speak and write very good English. sorry about that. If you can' t understand, tell me, teach me.
Aanyway, I was born and grown up in Japan. I went to the US when I was 21 years old to study English and fine arts. I graduated from Arizona State University, Herberger College of the Arts, in 2009.
I came back home a month after my graduation and worked at a flower shop for while to save up some money. Now I am opening my own studio called "Koumorinoko" means a child of the bat from October 1st 2010. Also one of my good friends, Sachi, is opening her own ceramics studio by my studio.  and a cafe will be open at the same area.

I'll up date some photos of my work, events, and things happening around me.

Thank you for reading. its enough English for me today.
see you soon!
